Phase 2 — Maintenance
What happens once you reach your goal weight.
Work · Food · Schedule · Preferences · Activity · Lifestyle
Phase 1 is a practical weight-loss coaching programme built around the life you already have — your working hours, the food you actually eat, the travel you cannot cancel and the preferences you are not going to give up.
It is designed for professionals who:
Every Phase 1 plan is built on the same eight principles. They are deliberately unglamorous — the work of weight loss is repetition, and a framework that cannot be repeated is decoration.
E — Energy. Build an appropriate energy intake without unnecessary extreme restriction.
A — Adequate Protein. Include appropriate protein sources throughout the day rather than in one meal.
T — Thrive on Fibre and Variety. Prioritise vegetables, fruits, whole foods and dietary variety.
S — Smart Food Quality. Focus on practical food quality and appropriate portions, not on eliminating whole food groups.
M — Moderation. Learn how to manage higher-calorie foods without an all-or-nothing mindset.
A — Activity. Build movement and physical activity into your routine at a level you can hold through a busy quarter.
R — Routine. Create habits that fit your actual schedule rather than an idealised one.
T — Track and Transform. Monitor progress and make informed adjustments as your body and your calendar change.
Phase 1 is not the whole programme. As your weight moves toward your reference range, maintenance planning begins — so the habits that hold the result are already in place before you need them, rather than being introduced on the day the plan ends.
What happens once you reach your goal weight.
How transformation and maintenance fit together.
A downloaded plan does not know your BMI, your activity level, your health conditions or your schedule — and it never changes. Yours is built after assessing all four and adjusted as your progress and your calendar change.
It depends on your starting point and how much you have to lose. We work toward roughly half a kilo a week, which is slower than most advertising promises and considerably more likely to still be true a year later. No specific timeline or outcome is guaranteed.
No. Activity guidance is built around what you have access to, whether that is a gym, a home routine or simply more daily movement. Most of the change comes from nutrition regardless.
Then travel is designed into the plan rather than treated as an interruption to it. Travel weeks get their own version of the plan, prepared before you leave.
Maintaining it is a new skill — and it is the one nobody teaches.
Reaching your target is an achievement. Living comfortably there is a skill.
