The weight maintenance guide
The full explanation of what happens after transformation.
Maintaining it is a new skill — and it is the one nobody teaches.
You have worked toward your target. The plan has done its job. And then the question quietly changes from "how do I lose this weight" to "how do I continue living my life while maintaining my progress".
That is what Phase 2 is designed for. Losing weight runs on a deficit, a plan and a deadline. Maintenance has none of those — the structure that carried you to your target disappears at exactly the moment normal life returns, and nothing replaces it unless the replacement is built deliberately.
Airport food, hotel breakfasts and back-to-back meetings. You build a default travel pattern — what to order, what to carry, and how to return to routine on landing rather than three weeks later.
Eating out stops being a decision you have to win. You build a small set of reliable orders across the cuisines you actually eat, so the choice is made before you sit down.
Business dinners get their own approach: late timings, drinks and a table you are not in charge of. The focus moves to what you can control — the day around the dinner, portion decisions, and what happens the next morning.
Diwali, Holi, Eid, weddings — food is the point, and avoiding it is neither realistic nor desirable. You plan around the season rather than abandoning the plan for it.
The same applies to family functions, celebrations and weekends away. Flexibility is built in deliberately, so a single event never becomes the reason a whole month is lost.
A new role, a new city, a demanding quarter. Your routine is rebuilt around the schedule you actually have now, not the one you had when you started.
And weight moves day to day for reasons that have nothing to do with fat — salt, sleep, hydration, hormones, the timing of a meal. You learn to read a trend across weeks rather than react to a single morning on the scale.
The measure of success in Phase 2 is how little you need us. By the end, the decisions are yours to make — with the reasoning behind them, not just the instructions. The goal is independence, not permanent dependency on a coach.

Where the journey starts, if you are not there yet.
Talk through where you are and what maintenance would involve.
Yes. Plenty of people reach a goal weight and then find nothing prepared them for holding it. Phase 2 starts from where you are now, whoever guided the loss.
It tapers by design. Contact reduces as you take over the decisions, because a maintenance phase that never ends has not taught you anything.
Some fluctuation is normal and expected. What matters is the difference between a fluctuation and a trend, and knowing which response each one needs — which is most of what Phase 2 teaches.
No. Tracking is a tool for learning portions, not a permanent condition. Most people move to a much lighter form of monitoring once the judgement is built.
