Weight Loss Indian Thali Plan
Tell us about yourself and we'll match you to the right Indian Thali plan — built from Coach RKD's own nutrition protocols.
What a weight-loss thali changes
The plan holds a deficit you can keep, not the largest one you can survive. Portions of rice and roti are measured rather than removed, protein is raised at every meal so the deficit costs you fat rather than muscle, and vegetables carry the volume so the plate still looks like dinner.
Nothing is banned. A plan that forbids your staples is a plan you follow for three weeks and resent for the fourth, which is why the Thali Planner builds around roti, rice, dal and sabzi rather than around their absence.
A sample day
- Breakfast — two idlis with sambar, or a besan chilla, plus a bowl of curd
- Lunch — two rotis, dal, a large sabzi, salad, a small portion of rice
- Evening — roasted chana, or a fruit with a few nuts
- Dinner — grilled paneer, chicken or fish with sautéed vegetables and one roti
The planner above builds your own version of this around your body, your goal and any health condition you report.
These meal plans are general wellness guidance, not medical advice, and not a treatment for any condition. They are designed to sit alongside the care you already receive — if you are managing diabetes, thyroid, PCOS, blood pressure or any other condition, or taking prescribed medication, please agree changes with your doctor first and never adjust prescribed treatment on your own. Individual results vary.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much weight loss is safe per month?
Roughly two to four kilos for most people. Faster than that usually costs muscle and rarely holds. Individual results vary.
Do I have to give up rice?
No. Portion and pairing matter far more than the grain. Rice sits in the plan with a measured portion and enough protein and fibre beside it.
What about eating out?
Eating out is planned for rather than treated as a lapse. The coaching builds a small set of default orders so the decision is made before you see a menu.
Will I regain the weight afterwards?
That is exactly what the maintenance phase exists to prevent. Losing weight and holding it are two different skills, and only one of them is taught by a diet plan.
